About Our Bus Hire Service:
Community Transport East Renfrewshire provides safe, affordable and fully supported bus hire services for local groups, charities, clubs and organisations. Our mission is to help people stay connected, active and included by offering transport that is flexible, accessible and designed around community needs.
Whether you're planning a day trip, attending an event, organising regular activities or supporting vulnerable members of the community, our fleet and drivers ensure a smooth, comfortable and dependable journey.
Affiliation Fee: £25.00 — a one‑off payment to complete your registration to our service. ✅
🚐 Our Fleet
We offer two fully maintained, accessible buses to suit different group sizes:
Small Bus
Seats: 6 passengers in the back + 2 in the front
Ideal for small groups, clubs, support services and short local trips
Fully accessible (reduced seating if a wheelchair space is required)
Large Bus
Seats: 11 passengers in the back + 2 in the front
Perfect for larger groups, community outings and longer journeys
Fully accessible (reduced seating if a wheelchair space is required)
Monday–Friday Hire Charges
🚐 Small Bus
Seats: 6 in back + 2 in front
£10.00 per hour (reduced rate for 4+ hours)
Plus £1.00 per mile
🚌 Large Bus
Seats: 11 in back + 2 in front
£15.00 per hour (reduced rate for 4+ hours)
Plus £1.00 per mile
👨✈️ A driver is provided with every hire.
♿ Both buses are fully accessible. Please note seating may reduce if a wheelchair space is required.
Weekend Hire (Saturday & Sunday)
Weekend pricing follows the same structure plus an additional £20 per hire.

A cancellation fee may apply if adequate notice is not given.
Buses must be returned clean and tidy. A £30 cleaning/damage charge will be added if required.
Late returns may incur an additional £5.00 per hour (or part hour) on top of the hire charge.
All prices include VAT.
